这次面试是 Visa 的 Full-stack Developer 实习岗位。岗位要求每周进办公室三天(周二到周四),同时考察行为面和技术能力。对我来说,这是一次很重要的机会。

一开始有点小插曲。因为之前沟通中信息不一致,我原本以为这一轮是纯 behavioral,结果对方面试官一开口就说:“for the software engineer position it should be behavior plus coding.”
我当时心里一紧,但还是镇定下来回应:“I was told this round should be behavioral only.”
对方想了想,说:“That’s okay, we can stick with behavioral today and schedule another technical.”
这一刻让我放松不少,因为我准备时已经写过完整的逐字稿,无论是哪种问题都能接上。

开场问题是:“Tell me a little bit about yourself.”
我回答说:“I started my undergrad as a math major because I was planning for a PhD. But during junior year I joined a hackathon and realized I wanted to make a real-world impact earlier, so I switched to Computer Science.”
我顺便解释了没有实习经历的原因:“I had to finish two years of coursework in two years, so instead of internships I worked on large-scale personal projects.”
这些话很顺畅,因为我之前练习过表达,不会在细节上卡壳。

接下来对方问:“Can you describe a project you led and what challenges you faced?”
我挑了一个电商平台类的项目,这是我自己组的一个 8–10 人团队。我们用到了 Elasticsearch、Redis、Zookeeper、RabbitMQ 等工具,尽量还原工业级的分布式环境。
我说:“Yes, I was the project lead. One of the biggest challenges was keeping everyone motivated. For example, two teammates got stuck because backend data never matched frontend. In meetings they said they were making progress, but privately they were ready to give up. I set up a one-on-one, listened carefully, and helped reorganize priorities so they didn’t feel left behind.”
这段回答我能感觉到对方点了点头。

后面还有几道经典的行为题:

  • “How did you motivate your team when things got stuck?”
  • “What motivates you personally, and what are your career goals for the next few years?”
  • “What impact do you want to make if you join us?”

我回答时用了 STAR 模型,把情境、行动和结果交代清楚。例如谈职业目标时,我说:“My immediate goal is to become proficient in the tech stack we use here, and in 3–5 years I want to take on larger scope projects, maybe specializing in AI or other emerging technologies that align with company needs.”

整体下来,这一轮几乎都是行为面问题,更多考察沟通、项目经历和动机。真正让我安心的是,很多回答我都提前准备过脚本,所以就算有临时的流程变化,也能自然接住问题,不至于慌乱。

最后对方让我提问。我用了 CSOAHelp 准备好的问题:“What do you like the most about working here?”、“What’s the onboarding process usually like?”、“How do you measure scope and performance?”
这些问题看似随意,实则精准到位,既不会太宽泛,也能显示出我对团队文化和工作方式的关心。

整场面试下来,我最大的感受就是:
如果没有 CSOAHelp,我可能会因为紧张而卡壳,或者说得乱七八糟。但有了它,就像有一个辅导老师提前帮我写好了逐字稿,告诉我在什么地方该举什么例子、怎么用 STAR 模型回答、该问哪些反问问题。我需要做的,只是把这些内容用自己的语气说出来。
